TEACHING & GRATITUDE
Though you will find many good teacher trainings, a teacher training course will not make you a teacher. It might help you with anatomy and the names of the asanas, but only the development of a self practice will prepare you for becoming a teacher. You can only teach what you practice.
The teachers listed below are just a few who have dedicated their lives to spreading the practice of yoga, both on and off the mat. I will forever be grateful for their shared wisdom.

To Rolf Naujkat,
for introducing me to the practice…
To Shri Ramana Maharshi,
who continues to shine through his silent teachings...
To all the dedicated teachers who have passed through Purple Valley and given me the opportunity to practice and learn with them,
and to all the ashtanga teachers throughout the world who continue to share their knowledge and wisdom with love, I truly salute to your dedication and passion...

I bow to the lotus feet of the gurus,
The awakening happiness of one’s own self revealed, beyond better. Acting like the jungle physician, pacifying delusion, the poison of samsara,
Taking the form of a man to the shoulders,
Holding a conch, a discus and a sword,
To Patanjali, I salute.
